Altered Joint Motion in Neck Pain Patients. Using video fluoroscopy, researchers evaluated cervical joint motion in eighteen patients with recurrent neck pain and eighteen healthy controls. The research team observed abnormal motion in the cervical joints during both flexion and extension in the participants with neck pain, and there was an association between greater joint dysfunction and higher pain intensity among the neck pain group. Doctors of chiropractic often utilize cervical manipulation and mobilization to restore normal joint motion in patients with neck pain. Clinical Biomechanics, October 2019
